Let's Break the Shame X PTSD
Let's Break the Shame X PTSD
On October 28th Let's Break the Shame will organise an event which focusses on PTSD. One of the Speakers during the event will be Ferry Zandvliet. Ferry will share his experience about surviving a terrorist attack and turning it into happiness.
Statistics have shown that 1 in 13 people will develop PTSD in their life. While people often assume PTSD is only something we see in veterans it is something anyone can develop after suffering a traumatic event. People who suffer from PTSD are more likely to suffer from a depression as well. During our LBTS X PTSD event we want to make people feel heard, seen and understood. To destigmatise mental health problems such as PTSD and to let you know you are not alone.
We ask you to donate so we can make it happen and invite you to join us in the future.
